I dont know Adam, mine are 572 W/ alum. Brodix heads,10 to 1 comp. making that power....700HP is a tall order for a N/A engine runnin pump gas. And then theres the reliability factor...I say go blower. Problem is, changing pistons involves alot too. Machine work(more than people think), fit rings, rebalance assembly,ect... Also, you will most likely need a cam change if your adding a blower, then springs and maybe pushrods, depending on your new geometry! Not to mention the blowers, carbs(4), flame arrestors, carb linkage, fuel regulators,ect....So, I dont know. ..........IMO, if price is not an issue, go blowers, easier to make 700 HP and less stress on the engine on at normal running speeds. Wow, now IM stressed out!

Hey kreed park here just my 2 cents, have 540s,dart pro 1 heads, dart intake,1050 dom, gils msd box, motores dynoed at 625plus at 5400rpm,run 93 all the time no problems would go n/a over blowers any day just my 2 cents, can spin a 26 b1 to 5800 no problem

I am running9.5-1,carb set alittle fat and no thermostat, water temp NEVER goes above 120. The key to avoid problems is not to much comp,gd fuel and alum heads they remove heat much better

Question is, are your motors still making power at 5800 ?? If they are, your motors make more power than 625. If not, your spinning them above power band for no reason, and will eventually break something, youll need bigger props. Adam wants 700 HP, so he needs 75 MORE HP than you have now. With the same CI, aftermatket heads and the same compression, only one way to get the extra HP....Camshaft.... So IMO, if he goes N/A, he is going to need a more radical cam, which is stress on the valve train all the time. With a blower, he can use a smaller cam which I believe will result in getting longer engine life. Plus, blowers look SICK ! These are in my old boat, and are baby blowers, but I personally like how they look.....

I should say that when I spun them to 5800 it was when I put them in my new cig, they should be at 5400,so u are right I do need more prop just went for a quick test run,I agree blowers look sweet but I guess I am old school,as far as cams go more dur is better than high lift bbc have a funky valve angle,I also have stud gruidles just my opion
