All Hyd lifters make some noise. You should probably pull the valve covers before you decide that you need a cam and lifters.

Anyone have comments on using oil additives for those still running slipper camshafts? It just seems like it would be a good idea and perhaps add some longevity to the old motors. I don't believe I would go with a slipper if I were changing cams and lifters.
