I was planning on staying with my Merc. Dist. and module.
I was hoping either or both would work with just the 6m box im thinking of buying.

I was thinking of using wire connectors so when the MSD box would go down then I would just plug it back to stock wiring.
What happens if a box breaks the first year does MSD warranty replace it since they can't fix it? Or is there no warranty on Marine boxes?

700hp 540's N/A 1050's MSD dist, MSD 7000 series marine boxes, 3 years no problems, 34 degree advance, not locked. I run the lightest springs MSD has available. Ran the heavier springs and had problems getting up on plane with spitting back thru carbs. Lighter springs did the trick.
