Blower
Found a merc SC blower-merc blue, think its a B&M250 ,maybe off a 575SC or 600SC with duel blower carb set up.
Could this fit my 502-HP500 carb, think they have oval port heads, what manifold an can you get an inner cooler for it.
Seems to have the short snout and right lower pulley?
I think the other guy had a whipple inner cooler?
Need some help don't want to waste my funds.
Thanks, Randy

Running this on a HP500 without ring and compression mods I would suggest 4-5lbs of boost max. Pretty sure that blower runs 6-7lbs with the stock pulley.
You may want to consider a knock alert system

I would skip the chiller (intercooler) on a charger this size, the 420's and larger don;t make as much heat. Make for a very tall engine with a chiller on it.

As for the blower, on my 509 it makes 7psi at 5000 up to 6000 and thats about all she wrote.
Any bigger motor I would need a bigger blower.
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm????
