I bought 2 new pumps just for this reason,there still not exactly the samethinking about the diff weight oil

I agree. The oil weight makes a difference in the speed. Or possibly the motor or pump need rebuilding.

1994 sunsation with twin 7.4's.....same thing. I've just accepted the fact that I have to trim separately and match them. Not that big a deal. I've had the rams rebuilt...new gimbal rings...and the pumps run the same oil. Suppose I could try getting the pumps rebuilt...bit I think it's just a fact of life....at least with an older boat. At least adding mechanical indicators made it a LOT easier to match the trims.
