I missed a couple, the Big M is an excellant choice, the compression should work well with the Whipple from what I hear. Oliver is a great rod, JE is a good piston, definitely
want good rings. 12 qt pan should also be fine, I think you'll want to add an oil cooler with a thermostat. |
GPM definitely a oil cooler and temp. As far as bore I am not sure but I will find out.

Blower pistons for a 6.7 rod 4.600 bore are special order. Going through that right now myself. Building a pair of 598's with 5 litre whipples. :drink:

Jeff that 5 litre whipple will be a nice addition to the 598. Are you working with Dustin. He may suggest Ls1 firing order.
|
campion I will talk to you in a week about my project , leaving for mexico tonite. Do not be afraid to ask lots of questions . Good luck , Jeff

Have a nice trip and keep in touch. Stay away from the tequilas....:lolhit:
|
If you are building a 598 with a 4.5 crank the bore will be 4.6
|
thanks GPM I will verify with Gordon at Paul Pfaff engine.

Ask him about Kenny Barnes motor.
