They are good.
I have 2 extras I would sell.

That is all we run, tough block. A little on the heavy side but hold up very well.

they are spec'd out very well. I must say they look like they can take a pounding.

A little heavier built in the stres areas, better material used in casting and a better designed oiling system over the stock blocks.

Any input on the dart aluminum blocks? I am going freshwater cooled.

Would the Dart Pro 1 heads matched up with the Dart block be a good combination.

The Dart Big M block is heavier than the Merlin dry, but if you check the specs full of water the Big M is slightly lighter. Obviously the block will have water in it, thus I feel the extra mass makes the Big M slightly stronger.
Sampson: I highly recommend talking with the block manufacturer at great length. You really need to go closed cooling for block stability. Just my opinion, good luck.
