So im pulling my seawater pump and alternator this weekend. Does anyone know if there is a rebuild kit part number for the pump on a carbed 525SC? Also, Im pulling the alt so I can upgrade to a higher amp as well. any suggestions on where to buy a decent 150 amp (maybe larger) or a part number so I can do some searches for one?

It just uses a standard Bravo sea pump kit.
It depends on what you want to replace as to which kit to get.

Ive never rebuilt the seawater pump since I bought the boat, because it was new when i got it. I was told I could run 2 seasons depending on the hours and I should replace the impeller. What would you suggest I change besides that?

Once you get the pump apart, and the impeller off, be sure to spin the pulley, and make sure the bearings in the pump turn nice and smooth, with no roughness or growling. Sometimes the seals can go bad, and water gets in the bearings. Bearings and seals are replaceable

You need to know if you have a 1 piece body or 2 piece. If a 1 piece will fit, then they get #46-807151A14. On my Pantera, a 1 piece kit would not work due to where the motor mounts were. If you get a 2 piece kit, then get #47-59362Q 7 as long as the body looks good inside. The body rarely gets bad on them. If teh body looks bad or is cracked inside then get #46-72774A89.
Boatfix is about the cheapest place I have found for impeller kits. They are Merc kits. Don't use junk Sierra kits.
