ok I have another short block to check out. here are the numbers. 10237300 I looked it up and and it shows a gen 6- 4 bolt main. I will send fixx a pic as soon as I get it.

Any reason to stay away from a tall deck 454? it has a single piece rear main seal. What are the pros and cons please. I am interested if there are any limitations to this type of block.
