The breakdown of the 26's thru the range is over on the other thread, but top end was 5200 @ 77-78mph speedo. BTW, late last year I had a chance to try stock 27's. They ran 4900 @79mph speedo. I have labbed 27's on the way. (gps has confirmed that my speedo is "off" by 2 mph at top speed).

Hey Advantage,
I had a chance to run the 25s while documenting speed thru the range. I also entered the world of hi-tech and purchased a GPS to record speeds. They are below:
GPS
2500rpm 33.5mph
3000rpm 41.5mph
3500rpm 49.3mph
4000rpm 58.5mph
5200rpm 74.8mph
Speedo
2500rpm 33mph
3000rpm 41mph
3500rpm 50mph
4000rpm 59mph
5200rpm 77mph
I could have worked the trim and gotten a little more speed but it wouldnt have done any good since I was running at the limiters. If Hill is able to get me 300rpm out of those 27s then my top speed would be 79.6mph @ 5100rpm. Im not expecting that speed but you never know. I would be thrilled with 77mph with the labbed 27s. Nonetheless, they got me exactly 300rpm by labbing those 26s that I tried a while back. Went from 4900 to 5200.

I got back my Bronson Hill 27s and the results are below. All numbers are GPS and achieved on mirror-flat water with temps in the high 80s:
Old 25s:
2500rpm 33.5mph
3000rpm 41.5mph
3500rpm 49.3mph
4000rpm 58.5mph
5200rpm 74.8mph
New 27s
2500rpm 33.5mph
3000rpm 43.5mph
3500rpm 53.2mph
4000rpm 60.5mph
5000rpm 77.2mph
I obtained the new numbers without activating my OTIS311 Turbo (AKA engine cover opened 2). Someday I will use my OTIS311 Turbo but not today.
I guess Ill settle for these numbers. It would have been great to see 78 since 78 can be rounded up to 80 for bragging purposes. Oh well, perhaps with the OTIS deployed.
