after reading the post about braided lines not working well in boats....who has good rubber ones and fittings that go to AN etc ? thanks Rob

didnt say they were not good just that they are not Coast Guard approved and they (like all hoses) have a limited life span. Aeroquip does make approved hose but I dont recall the number. part of the problem with hoses is that the ones you used to run and never had issues with are not good with the ethanol fuels. some of the newer hoses state that they are approved for ethanol so check out the manufacturers specs closely before decideing.

Hey Jim,

I've been front to back top to bottom, soaped and pressurized everything, no dice...

I'm wondering if it was the vents when the bowls were filling. I ran the blowers and then closed the boat back up overnight, and no more smell. Hit the pumps and got some slight odor, but cant find a leak or get any smell on my hand anywhere. I wonder if just having the boat inside with no air movement is allowing me to smell even the slightest bit of fuel in the carbs.

I have used the Aeroquip socket less hose an AN fittings and they work and look good. They look similair to the ones Teague sells.
