The first time when i repowered i did prime it via the pump.

Every season do you do that? I guess it wouldnt hurt to be safe:coolcowboy:

the Skater has external oil pumps we just drop the belt and spin it on a drill 3 mins 80Lbs of oil pressure and slide the belt back on , customers boats all get primed and a splash of Lucas & PRO-BLEND :drink: better safe then sorry :coolcowboy:

We use a pre-Lube engine oiler, when I spring the boat. Easy to use and you don't need to pull the distributor out of the engine.
