Default Identify This Steering Mfg.

Anyone know what manufacturer this is that made these rams? Need to replace outer seal and having difficulty identifying.

They are really well made and machined. On a 2003 Hustler.

I emailed factory to see if they know, but figured you guys would give me a quick answer.

Thank you,

Kirk

From the wingplate it looks to be Marine Machine steering. 954-458-1312 Bing is contact. I'd send them a picture.

Definately not Marine Machine. I had MM steering on my last 2 boats and the rams and mounts are completely different.

Looks like an XS Performace sytem to me. I have the exact same system that I just picked for mine and the wingplates are identical. I can post a pic if you are curious. The seal head on your rams are different on mine but that may be due to where Brian got the rams at the time of the kit being built. The problem is that I have recently tried contacting him and no answer and I have tried alot!! Also Hilsinger Marine used to be the largest supplier for his kits and they appear to be out of business to. I have a pile of contact numbers for both if you are interested in trying to reach them.

Kirk, those should be standard seals. I think I used to get that stuff from Catching Hydraulic up there. Or McMaster might have them.

Thats what I was thinking too Marc, I'll take it apart tosee what type of seal it is.

I think they are Zeigler rams.
