I took a little time to read this over and am seeing both sides however I would simple call HGT and make an appt to drive out there and get it settled. I have bought a ton of parts used and new. Even new have had issues with. It's all part of the deal. Just some worse than others. The main thing is that you get it handled and move on. Good luck with your new set up. Hopefully we'll all have nice warm boating season. It was hailing out here in NW MI the size of golf balls an hour ago. LOL... Take care.

Is there anything else your willing to do to rectify this situation instead? The valve job offer does not help me at this point in time since I got that taken care of already.

Taking care of the pushrod and lifter issue, and some sort of compensation for our differing opinions on the headwork would seem to be a fair resolution.

At this point I just want get this issue solved somehow and put it behind me.
