Default Removing scratches from my windshield

I've got some scratches on my windshield and want to know if there is a way to remove them. I'm trying to avoid replacing it do to the fact that fountain wants over 5 grand. Any ideas?

spinletto... In the aircraft world we use a product called Micro-mesh to polish out scratches in acrylic windows and plastics. It works great on those. Its basically a sandpaper kit with specialized solution. The box says it can work on almost any non-porous surface. Never tried a glass window. But at 35$ a kit its a far cry from 5g's. lol. I would give it a shot on a waste piece of glass and see what happens. here's a link to a place that sells it, or you can Google. Hope this helps! http://www.chiefaircraft.com/airsec/...chRemoval.html

If it's glass you could try using toothpaste.
