Hi Guys

I have a buddy who is looking for a chartplotter, he has done most of his research and seems to have settled on a Lowrance HDS7, has anyone used or owned this unit? Any input would be appreciated!

I have the older version lcx27hd and am happy with it. The new version is 3d sonar and higher resolution. Don't know anyone personally that has it yet, but looks good on paper

I have seen a video of the unit and it seems like a good piece, just looking for some input from anyone who has used or owned one, or even a HDS 8 or 10
