Thinking about this part.
What's the verdict?

The stainless front plate on mine is always good. The rear surface of my plastic housing is always chewed up. The vane surface stays OK. Tired of buying the bodies.

There is a wear plate that go's inside that the impeller runs on so it will not wear on the housing I have one brand new I need to install when my black plastic one fails.

I am running one with no complaints. There is a metal insert so the housing does not get damaged or worn that can be replaced. I heard they wear out impellers faster, but I replace mine every year. Jeff Wurl
