Whatever you do pump out the old gas and put fresh in before you run it.

Deb, I agree with most of the above.....especially the part about a complete survey.

Sea-Ray makes a good boat, however I would suggest asking this same question on a different forum dedicated to Sea-Rays or cruisers. That boat may have inherant problems that offshore guys would not be aware of. Find a Sea Ray forum and ask they members for know pre-exsisting conditions to look for.

Make sure all bellows are inspected, I can tell you on an alpha drive 10 years or older if the shift cable bellows has never been changed it is due.

I wouls say at the least have all bellows, sea pump impellars, tune up, grease all points, and fluids changed unless you have history of service.
