I finally blewup the tranny in my 24 Excalibur, and need a replacement. It is a Merctrans. (I cannot fit a borg, as the boat has a 502 with a blower and their is not enough room).

Just have it rebuilt. It is such a simple trans. You can still get the seal kit from Merc and the clutches are just Ford AOD clutch disks. Same clutches that they use in the BW drive. Get the Brass clutches they will hold more HP, and if you hit something or get them wet they fair better. Hubber told me as long as it does not need a pump that he charges 600 bucks to put them together, and another 100 bucks to put in an additional clutch in the drum. Your other alternative is to go with a Stelling Box for 2200 bucks and put a bravo on there. You should be able to sell all your TRS drive stuff for about 3 grand and come out of it all ok.

I like the TRS over the bravo, as it shifts so nicely. And I have 90K in this boat and cannot stomach any more------it has some personal value.
