I own a pantera, but i was looking at scarabs years ago, what are ppls opions on there hulls, arent the stringers wood and if so how may years do the hulls last?

Thats a great question about the hull i would appreciate any answers to that question! Also someone said its around 500hr and probably ready for rebuild what are some opionions on that???

IMO, 500 hours on a well maintained 350 small block in stock configuration is only about halfway there. It is pretty common to see these engines go well over 1000 hours, IF THEY ARE TAKEN CARE OF. Now if they were run in saltwater, no oil changes, or they ran the bag out of them, all bets are off.
