1) buy a 2 six packs of beer and put it in your cooler

2) go to where the boat is and use your cell phone to call the boat mechanic.

3) tell him that you will pay him to come and change the water hose with a $ 100 bonus if he gets it done today.

4) sit on your cooler and start drinking the beers while he works.

5) pay him and go boating and finish the beer on the water instead of in the hosptital after you hurt yourself and broke the boat doing work you have no idea how to do

Why would you need to remove the gimbal ring to
get to a hose ?

Taking the hinge pins out (of the bell housing/helmet) should
allow access.
