Algae in fuel tank

The boat sat for 8 years and the tank was 3/4 full of old crappy gas. I pulled most of it out and have been running it and trying to track down various issues but it seems that everything I've been look for is related to the build up in the tank. I've put about 10 hours of run time on this and have gone through 2 sets of filters. Things seem to be getting better and filters are lasting longer. The first time I pulled the fuel filters they were showing signs of rust with in a week. Now there is no rust just lots of scale. The fuel tanks are aluminum with copper pick up tubes. i guess all I can do is just keep running it and suck the scale out...

STARTRON. This stuff is amazing. I use it in all engines/ vehicles if they sit. It's also great for periodic system cleaning. It works on all types of engines and fuels, and is designed to clean algae. It actually has live enzymes that clean the system.
