Depends on your picture program. I use Thumbs Plus. If I want to shrink it down I save it aand instead of using the original resolution, decrease quality down to about 70 or 80% That would get you where you need to be.

Here's the boat, and I must say it doesn't even look like the same boat. Came out really nice.
