Bravo drive reservoir bubbling
I recently installed new X drives on my boat. On my first water test I noticed the reservoir bubbling up some. I figured it was air in the line from the reservoir to the drive. Next time out only the port drive does this. I figured I must have a leak somewhere. I called Mike, Goodfella, to ask the best way to diagnose the problem. His mechanic told him it was a 99% chance that I forgot to put in flat washer in the reservoir cap. These systems are pressurized. I pull the cap and find the washer is intact but the orange rubber piece has moved and the vent hole was exposed. One new cap and problem solved. You learn something-new everyday.
