that old of a boat, keep it where it is. It has lasted this long. no need to waste money

Thanks everyone for all the replys. I ended up fixing the problem all togethor...LOL I bought the boat this past saturday and sold it today. I sold it and bought my new boat all in one day. I had been looking at annother boat and decided to pull the trigger on it since I had not even started to personalize the boat yet. The new boat is a 89 baja 235 with a 454 and bravo 1 setup. The boat is in really good shape and the motor is getting a total rebuild next week. The business next to mine is a big machine shop and they are going through the whole motor. Bore, pistons, cam, new bearings through out etc etc.

I'll post some pics after I pick it up this weekend.

I have my own marine repair business all of you are dead on about keeping the Alpha.
