Default Honda 2000i Generator

Does anyone know if this unit will power my 7000 BTU Marine Air? I am thinking that the air conditioner pulls less than the 2000 max watts on the generator?

depends on the year and brand the a/c is, older units require much more power at start up...newer units like the mermaids I sell use a soft start compressor and would be no problem...most newer units should be fine..

The Honda generators are VERY good, they are also VERY quiet, my parents are "RV" people and they say the Honda Gens are the quietest ones out there.

Hey KR? Send me some info on what Honda make in the 8-10KW range, Thanks!

i can run my 9k and battery charger for about 6 -7 hrs on a tank of gas with the 2000. the eco throttle is a nice feature and only uses what it needs.
