I need to replace my outdrive and transom assembly...are all years compatible or do I need to be looking for certain things. Also...where is a good place to find a unit at a good price...not looking for new, but one in good condition.

I got a drive and transom assembly from Victory Marine a couple of years ago. They were the best price around at the time. They are an OSO advertiser.

are all bravo 1's the same other than gear ratio?

They are pretty much the same and interchangeable. The later ones have better stuff in them but not much better. I have a drive and transom Plate etc for sale. Pm me for details.

There have been some internal changes, but a new transom assembly and bravo drive will bolt right up to any existing bravo cut transom. Also, any Bravo drive will bolt up to any any bravo transom assembly.
