Heres a few picks of what I did,Had to make mine shorter because the notch is short on Hustler 388,I ended up changing the radius of the J Tube, pretty much redesigned it a little

if I hadnt of just repainted and redone everything I would had the figerglass guy cut a notch in the bottom,a releif for the pickup so it wouldnt hang down as far, suposedly helps with drag?

I guess I have about 3/4 hanging down, still want show positive pres in the innercooler, but it does flow more water that the Imco offshore style pickup I had on it.hope this helps?

I too choose the Teague transom adjustable. Notched the bottom to "channel" water to the tube. I had to relocate the drain plug to allow for the water pick-up to be mounted in the lower portion of the hull.

The one in pic 38 is what I'm looking for. Are these custom made or? I plan on removing my bottom hull pickups and channeling into the new ones but need to go up thru the step and not 180 back into the transom.

Ok guys thank you i am sure my problem is i am getting tons of Aerated water!!! My adj. water pic up is on the very back of my daytona. The real bottom of the boat is like 2 feet in front where the dain plug is. I am getting to much psi that i bet is 50% air and 50% water. So i might have to glass in hole and go threw the bottom of the boat for soild water! i will get pic of my set up. But what do you guys think sounds right? THANKYOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Did you ever get "after" picks of the strainer?

Who are these people and did they work?

I'm tossing between notching the bottom to the size of the PU, or doing a notch half the size and chop the bottom off the PU(Teague adj)at an angle of attack/"scoop".

My pressure's too low. Engine heats up at WOT. Idle to 4000RPM is OK.
Now I have:
15" long notches about 1/2" deep X 1" wide feeding the 1.25" PU's
The PU's hang below the original bottom 1/2" making a passage about an inch round.
Thoughts?
