Default 565bbc numbers

Alright ran the motor today after rebuild from dropping a valve punched it up to 565ci running 310 dart pro1 heads and a demon 1050 carb numbers were not what I thought they would be. Motor made peak tq 692 at 5500 and peck hp was 748 at 6000 now the tq band was pretty flat from 4000 to 5500 was only about 20 lb-ft difference . Hp was about 475 at 4000 with a steady climb. Timing was set at 35 degrees. Just looking for some input from you guys that know better then me as to why tq is so high in the power band thanks for any input

because thats where you put the cam timing.
