supercharger efficiency
Looking into adding a supercharger to a 454 mag carb engine. How much is the sc going to effect fuel mileage at cruising speed and at wot? I don't mind if it sucks it down at wot, but would like to retain some efficiency at cruising speed....

or you can run a procharger which boost dont come it until 3300 ish rpm's,,will also save your drive..

I put a Procharger on my 454Mag MPI and my fuel economy has actually IMPROVED......except when she goes into boost.....:eek:

WOW all sounds good. So...keeping budget in mind...what is the best settup for me.

No such thing as a budget when it comes to superchargers ! Just add it all up and x by 2 might put you close .
