PSC has all kinds of hydraulic steering components, mostly for off road, but the steering valves are a great price.

There is a table in the IMCO catalog that shows helm size / ram stroke, in relation to "lock-to-lock" of your steering.

I had a single ram system that normally uses the 95cc helm, but I used the 120cc with the thought of adding another ram. I never did add the ram, but the steering worked great.

Sounds like you have what is known as an add-on system. Before I converted to a full system, I still had some play in the steering. Once I added the helm, it made a big difference in the precision of the steering.

Just received my parts. Basically you are going to need a helm, steering post, filter, and a bunch of fittings and hydraulic hose. Some say you need a additional tank for fluid capacity and others say its not needed. Imco has an add on kit to complete your current set up to full Hydraulic and CP Performance has a kit made by Mayfair Marine. After a bit of researce I chose the Mayfair kit, it was about $500cheeper and came with the additional tank, and appeared to be a more complete set up IMO, I will see shortly.

tbanzer,
I have a friend of mine that makes everything and is higher quality cylinders and hardware than any of them. Custom machine shop that makes most of the steering/suspension components for the big monster trucks. You can reach him via email--sstoutlaw at yahoo dot com (I think) or send me a PM and I can give you his number. Great guy to work with!

I wish I would have got your response sooner I already researched, purchased last week, and got my stuff today.

Im mechanicaly inclined and was wounding if this stuff in difficult to do as I would like to save some money by doing it myself.
