HELP! mercruiser 496 MAG HO - diagnostic port & trouble codes
Hi
am stuck with faults for mercruiser 496 MAG HO 2004 model. Being in a 3rd world country we dont have the right diagnostic scan tools. hence I will have to use "old school method" ie connect led test light into the diagnostic port and interpret light flash/beeps. Can someone pls.. help by answering the below questions:
1. How would I connect my led light tester to the diagnostic port ?
2. Is there a faults codes list for this sort of testing.

Contact www.rinda.com for a $400 US scan tool or laptop program and interface to read and identify the fault codes. A led digital tester will not read or let you identify them.
