Same MO. I helped your offshore customers for a few years trying to help fix there problems which you blamed on them and/or their engine builders which you helped some pick by the way. How much money did you charge a certain someone to make their hopped up ZZ502's make the same power as stock ZZ502's. Kinda weird you have been off this site for how long until now ? And I came back before you did ? Look at the dates. Following you around. LOllllllllllllllllllllllll. You just keep coming back for more. Yes Opies deal was a bad one. I thought that engine builder was a better guy then he was. That deal I felt bad for and I helped mark out as much as I could. He ran those 540's in the Formula for 4 years. He went through the big D last year and went out and bought a 41 Formula with Trips. He contacted me late last year and we put a matching triplet together for him. Steelcomp had a set of Canfields that he did for Opie and I sold him all the parts at cost. So the 2 old builds are still running and on their second boat. |
Best torque ever seen - they fell on themselves when it was time they should make some real power.
Nice try !

Opies motors ran fine once he went to an engine builder of his own choice and followed my advice on what rotating parts to use. That was a huge disaster ! We all know that one. Could it have turned into a bigger mess ?????????????/ Suprised he fell into the trap again, but getting parts at cost would do that for most. Which brings up a great point, seem to remember you getting many people parts at cost because of their engine builds having to be rebuilt a second time and in one instance a third time. So............people with busted engines for the first go round and then buy more parts from you 'at cost' means everythings okay ? Lol. |

Now you are cuting and pasting sentences out of context then posting them up as quotes. Talk about showing ones ethics. |
Oh, and that same builder and parts spec'd that turned into a disater, boned Born2Burn on a 383 shortblock he purchased for his plow truck.
You spec'd that shortblock for him, set him up with that same builder - this was before you sent OPIE there BTW, and was sent improperly balanced for his flywheel. Then, you and the builder couldn't figure out to balance his flywheel correctly. Snow came before he contacted me - which I told him how to have the flywheel balanced by the way - and shortblock got put under the bench never to be used by him. Remember that ? I can't make this stuff up. Goes on and on and on and on. |

To make you happy I'll put teverything you say in quotes. You starting to see why I speak my piece about your stuff ? Disaster after disaster after disaster. I used to recommend you and that made me eat crow. I spent countless hrs with these people (that got the good old boning from you when I was making those recommendations) with helping to tune, consoling, trying to regroup, etc,etc . Word these disaster boat builds anyway you want, but you had more disasters than successes...if you want to call underpowered engines that stayed together as 'successes' . This is why I'm not silent when you try to make more business with the unknowing............your history and my not being able to swallow the thought of more people going thru what others have when I know what the chance is of them going thru the same thing. That;s it in a nutshell. That's my 'agenda' as you call it. |

Big Heads, now Doug I don't preach big heads for boats. 310 canfields, 305 AFR are what I have used. When moving heavy boats with NA engines you need port velocity.

what happened to all questions that were asked that you didn't answer? If you think they will go away because you don't answer, you are making a mistake. |
