Shaun, I was waiting for someone to connect the dots between VODOPOO and CSTRAUB. Been sometime since OSO sent him packing.
well my motors were built by sutphen30.and he has always said the guy was full of chit.
hell, CSTRAUB went as far to say sut30 didn't own a boat.guess people will back anybody for cheap parts and chitty cams.
btw, dortechfool went as far to call outerlimits on bill,as he was helping them out with tuning, when dustin was tied up in cali.

Is Cslob aka Chris Straub??? Didn't he at one point keep tweaking cam duration numbers on desktop dyno once to the point where due to a glitch in the software it was telling him motors need like 20 degrees more duration on the exhaust than intake to run the best and he actually started selling cams ground this way with disasterous results??? things that make you go hmmm!!!!

same person , although there are a lot of cams ground with more exhaust duration and they work , look at the great 741 crane for example . his deal was way smaller exhaust lift and duration. something about a soda pop theory

This was the last (of many) on SW:
Good read. Don't miss page 1 and 2 and especially post#30.

Either way I heard of disasters with reversion and motors that were dogs!! Way back in 2005 or so I talked to Chris Straub on the phone, he was a rep for different parts companies, had it going on, told me he would set me up with some different wholesalers for my business, seemed like a really nice guy. Next thing I know I hear that Stefs fired him and he sorta disappeared in the middle of his cam fiasco, Smitty

Straub called me as well trying to "hook me up". He seemed like a nice enough guy. I was either already buying it at a low enough price or didn't want to use what he was pushing. So, I never dealt with him. Guess that's a good thing.

Man, that SW thread gave me a headache - HTF would have thought you could run that cam with wet exhaust?
