Didn't keep much of the stock 6.2 but block and crank so it's hardly a 6.2 now

That's awesome. You have got to be happy with that.

Default Is the 6.2 stock a good candidate

Let me know if I can help with pricing, advice, etc.

Does the 6.2 have the internals to support charging? Forged crank, pistons, rods?

Also what stock compression does it run stock. Just wondering because always hear that forged pieces should be present when supercharging to be dependable and last for some time.

Forged crank yes, pistons no, stock compression is around 9.5:1 We did change the pistons to JE forged and dropped the compression to 8.8:1.

What RPm are you running at max HP and what prop/pitch.

I run a 21ft with a mild modified 355 with an alpha one spinning a 21 laser II at 5100rpm and run 64mph gps.

I know you are way above this but just like to see others numbers.

WOW!!

I don't know about you, but when I am going 64 I am constantly looking way ahead for water conditions even in calm water for those swells. How is the Donzi at that speed when the water conditions are less than ideal??

I believe my CCams 270XM marine cuts out around the 5200 rpm range so I think for me to go any faster which I don't think will be advisable for my setup, I will need a more radical cam that operates in the 6000 range.

Thats a fast rig you got and probably a hands full at that speed!

Considering doing the same in a year or two.
Got a build thread anywhere? What heads are you running? Are they vortec style? Do you still have the stock rods in it?
I've heard the 350 mags can be either two or four bolt blocks but the 377's are two bolt. Was yours definitely two and did you splay the center three? Thanks.

We changed to Aluminum bigger valve heads, forged pistons, slightly larger cam, 7qt oil pan with oil cooler 6 psi of boost at it made 595 hp with 575 ft. lbs of tq. that was pretty flat from 3,000-5,800. Nite and day different from stock!!!!!
