Default What octane?

Just bought a boat with Merc 525s with Whipples. Is 93 octane recommended? My first exposure to this set-up. Thanks

I would.Your less likely to trip the knock sensors and reduce power.

You must have bought the AT red/gray one. Be careful with the 93 oct. gas at certain places as people dont use it much because of the cost, so the gas might be old (really old ) had that problem this summer drained tank and gas was yellow and lots of water in it my motor went into fail safe wouldnt turn over 3000 rpms (thank God) . Enjoy the boat.
