Default Lightning Marine Headers with dry tails

Hey guys,
I'm looking at going with the Lightning Marine headers with jacketed dry tails. This will be going on my 270 Convincor. Do the dry tails have internal flappers so water does not rush in when I slow down? My tips are out of the water at idle, just worried about when I slow down. Thanks guys.

Yo worry too much. There is a risk, however it is very small. I've ran my tips without flappers for years now & have never had an issue. I've even had a shutdown at speed and lived to tell the tale.
