Default Outdrives raise on their own?!

Was testing props today and the drives raised up on their own. Threw the breakers under the seat. I reset the breakers. During a high speed run drives started to lift on their own again. I reset the breakers again, one engine also died and couldn't start until I realized to reset the breaker by the key. I switched the battery switches to both and ran 58 miles problem free. Any ideal what caused the drives to just raise on their own?

I had the drive on my boat "lower" itself and melt the trim pump plastic tank up from heat. (ran until battery went dead , I assume when I was at work or middle of the night.) It was a failing trim switch on the binnacle. Dealer said he sees it from time to time.
