Anybody know who can tune, or in my case, pull a tune file off 496s, and if they had to, re-tune some basic tables...I would like to see where my timing is.
Before someone says tuning doesn't do anything with stock 496s, i might add that these aren't stock. Intakes, TB, heads, cams, pistons, etc...
Thanks

Whipple or Raylar
You are going to end up with a similar performance based re-program either way. Basically you can give them any other parameters you want. You can select where your rev limiter is, maybe decrease the knock sensor and maybe a little input on your advance. I had Whipple stage 3 and it recommended 93 octane and I ran just about everything thru it but piss and never had any problems. If you have a rebuilt 496 with a good bottom end upping the stock rev limiter will obviously give you some gains right off the bat. You can go thru each parameter and map every cylinder for perfect A/F but it will take a long time and it aint gonna cost you $750 like a standard re-flash.
