Default 502 mag efi fuel pressure question?

I have a 502 mag efi with a flat top piston, 500 efi cam crane 500 efi roller rockers and emi headers. wondering where's a good spot to set the fuel pressure at . i have a adjustible fuel pressure reg. its set at 37 psi running with the vac line in . any ideas?

Thanks for the reply. 43 psi sounds like alot... any feed back on why you recomend this #.

That is usually standard pressure that injectors are measured on and a good place to start. Fuel pressure will have an effect on your fuel mapping so I wouldn't experiment too much without some AFR readings or you could cook it.

I run 52lbs on mine but have gone through the fuel map and tailored to my specific needs.

Thanks ! I wish i cound get some mercruiser mapping for my laptopp program so i could mess with mine as well..
