Cost of Primer??!!
I think the coating companies being discussed here are good ones, just be careful not to get carried away with coatings like Smitty might have done here. Keep the cost vs benefit idea when looking at doing and using this type of work! Keith, that ain't primer! especially when you get a cost for putting it on correctly!

[QUOTE=Pokher Ace;3547446]What does that cost?[/QUOTE
Gold Coat on Top and PC-9 on Skirt …….................. $52.50 each
52.5x 8= 420$ to coat one set of pistons (now that is the gold cermic heat barrier coating for blown applications, the other stuff is the same stuff I had put on my heads)
300$ to coat a pair of heads plus keep in mind s/h and insurance on the parts, my heads were new at the time and were worth over 3000$ and I spent almost 200$ for s/h and insurance. I would get the gold coat even if you didn't have a blower motor as it seems real durable, Smitty
