Gauges repaired

I have a 1997 Baja and it looks like someone cleaned the gauges with a wire wheel it has a set gaffrig gauges does anyone know where to get them repaired or is it just best to buy all new ones. Any help will appr.

If you are talking about the a bunch of little cracks, that is called crazing. If they are labeled Gaffrig Precision Instrument then they are made by Livorsi and you should be able to send them in to be repaired at Livorsi.

Like already said, if the lens are crazed, then they will need to be replaced. But if not, you can buff them out, using Meguairs Showcar Polish, it does take some time, but I have gotten out 1/16'' deep scratches, done this for years on my show cars and boats. If it's worse than that, you can use 1000-2000 wet sand paper first, and then buff them out, but you will need to use a buffing wheel, not by hand. Go slow, and don't get the plastic hot, keep the buffing wheel moving. The cabin door on my last boat had a lot of deep scrathes in it, and I got it to look like new, people couldn't believe how it came out, I just kept working on it.
