There seems to be a lot of demand, and interest in the self contained efi throttle body market lately. For anyone interested, Holley's new Sniper system looks promising. You can use the handheld touch screen for basic tuning, or laptop software if you need more flexibility. It will run open loop after the tuning is done, which is a bonus for marine applications, full timing control as well. Pricing looks good too. https://www.holley.com/products/fuel...on/sniper_efi/

I just ordered the FiTech unit but it's on back order. It may be worth cancelling and going Holley just for the open loop option.

Just a note, the Holley will not do boost if you ever wanted to go that route.

Is anybody out there running the Holley HP EFI on a Mercruiser 496HO based engine? I am looking for a base tune to start with for that configuration engine.

What resonant frequency (single wire) knock sensor is best for a BBC using Holley HP EFI?

What resonant frequency (single wire) knock sensor has anyone used for a BBC using Holley HP EFI?

That looks like a blow through set up, yah? Open loop? I think he was referring to the newest econo version from Holley.
