Any suggestion on how to get trim motors synced? One is faster than the other, so using the trim control on the throttle causes them to get out-of-synch quickly. Thanks.

Take them apart and clean them and put new brushes in them. Or drop them off at an electric motor shop. Probably $20 for a clean and new brushes. I think the brushes cost me $3.00
Also I did use 2 different viscosity oils before I rebuilt them to at least get them close to one another.

did you change or add fresh oil to the "faster" unit?
I had a line blow on one of mine, fixed the line and added new oil and it made that one a lot quicker than the other, changed the oil in the opposite unit and they are now back to roughly the same speed.
Just my experience.

It was my understanding that the pumps where metered differently for tabs and trim rams? Some are high pressure low volume and some are low pressure high volume? Was it always like that or is it something new happening? Maybe one was changed at some point?

I have that problem after changing one transome assembly and rebuilding the other. The pumps were not changed, just the trim cylinders. I believe I need to rebuild or replace the trim cylinders that are original.

Could there be contamination in one of the pumps? You should be able to hear the difference in pitch between the motors, Might be a good idea to r&r both motors & check & flush everything out. Maybe check for kinks in trim lines?
