Default fixx

i know a little about them,,they are a sleve less engine and they do require allot of maintance..636 cid,the pistons only have one oil ring and one compression ring and they are built loose..if you run the rite oil in them you can get allot of life out of them,,they seem to come apart easily when you turn up the injection pump to 300 ponys but like statged they wont live long at that hp..they will last at 225- 250 hp range if you change the oil,,what kills them is the engine is built so loose and only having 2 rings which dont stop the excess blow by and the unburnt fuel contaminates the fuel and thins the oil out which then the thin oil starts to distroy the bearings..
the best oil we found for the 3208 is made by this guy,Own this business,
Leahy-Wolf Co http://www.facebook.com/pages/Leahy-...41581499216357

his oils are one of the best for diesel engines...we use to use citco oil in the 3208 and only got 100 k out of the engines, once we switched to leahy wolfs oil the 3208 would average 300 k before their were any internal problems...they also mfr a 15-40 syn blend oil which i havnt seen anybody make as of yet which works execelent!!
