For an oil pump with a hi flow and a hi pressure does it is recomended to have more that 8 qt oil pan?

My pans hold 8 qts. It takes about 10qts to fill when the engine is new but oil changes are 8qts. I never had an issue with sucking air and don't think I am even close.

I have always used Clevite bearings, i see a lot of people are selling King brand bearings. Has anyone used the King's,good or bad?
