Default Flame Arrestor

Sorry guys I know this topic has probably been talked about many times in the past, but I couldn't find the info I was looking for. Just read somewhere, of course I can't find it anymore, about taking off your flame arrestor cutting the divider piece that is between the two holes and creating one larger hole and then either replacing the old flame arrestor or upgrading it. This would be on a boat with twin stock 500 HP EFI's. All help is certainly appreciated.

I assume you are talking about a modified Throttle Body Intake. Arizona Speed and Marine sells a kit for this, including a new F.A. and an ECU Reprogram for about $850. Supposed to be good for about 25 ponies.
