I know there were 2 different kinds of splined upper pulleys depending on the year. Not sure on specifics.

Mine is a gen VI, the snout is 9'' and the spline shaft is 1.5'' from snout bearing.

The difference between older and newer splined styles is the offset distance front to back. The older style are toward the back, the newer style are toward the front. I have the newer style on a VI, don't have dims as the boat is in storage though.
