Hi,I recently purchased 2 sets of used switchable tips. I am being told to wire them I need to run them through a solenoid like the old Ford starter solenoids on the inside of the fender,can anyone tell me if this is right and if so what type would I need to get. there seems to be many types out there.

My boat has the same type of solenoid on the transom for the cutouts, i dont know the type of solenoid, but the exhaust system is teague marine, so maybe they can help you with parts.....
