does anybody know the temp rating of the Merc 575 SCI oil T-stat?

yes, just not me :-) ..............on a serious note, I honestly think it is set at 180deg

Pretty sure its 212, mine run between 212 to 220 when cruising. The water condensation wont burn off at 180.....I put one of those thermostates on my boat last year, because I couldn't make any oil temp in the early season with cold water...
